De operador de cabina a productor, pasando por exhibidor, estamos ante uno de los hombres importantes de Hollywood, que conservo su individualidad como cineasta, sin asociarse a ninguna de las grandes empresas productoras, aunque tuvo intereses economicos en la Fox.
